(hereinafter, the “Site”), operated by Riverside Ecoliving (hereinafter, “Riverside”), a company dedicated to the intermediation, organization, and commercialization of tourism services for digital nomads and international travelers.

Accessing, browsing, booking, purchasing, or using the services offered on the Site implies full and unconditional acceptance of these Terms and Conditions (“T&C”). If you do not agree with them, you must refrain from using the Site.

1. IDENTIFICATION OF THE SERVICE PROVIDER

Riverside Ecoliving is a company legally incorporated under the laws of the Republic of Colombia, with Tax ID (NIT) and registered address in Vereda El Chuscal, Jericó, Antioquia, Colombia, and is duly listed in the National Tourism Registry (RNT) as a Travel Agency, in accordance with Law 300 of 1996, Law 2068 of 2020, and their regulatory norms.

Riverside primarily acts as an online travel agency (OTA) and intermediary between users and the different tourism service providers published on the Site (accommodations, experiences, transportation, activities, etc.).

2. ACCEPTANCE OF THE TERMS

By accessing, using, booking, or purchasing through the Site, the user declares they have read, understood, and fully accepted these T&C. These T&C constitute a legal contract between the user and Riverside.

Riverside may modify these T&C at any time. Updated versions will be published on the Site with their corresponding modification date. Continued use of the Site implies acceptance of any changes.

3. PURPOSE OF THE SITE

The Site is intended to:

  • Publish, promote, and commercialize tourism services offered by third-party providers duly registered in the National Tourism Registry.
  • Facilitate the booking and purchase of accommodations, experiences, transfers, local activities, and other tourism services.
  • Provide general and logistical information related to ecoliving destinations, focused on digital nomads and international travelers.

4. NATURE OF INTERMEDIATION

Riverside does not directly provide all tourism services; it primarily acts as an intermediary between the user and each service provider (accommodation, transportation, tours, etc.).

Each provider is solely responsible for the proper performance of the contracted service. Riverside is responsible for:

  • Making available the information supplied by the provider.
  • Managing the confirmation of reservations.
  • Complying with Colombia’s e-commerce regulations.

5. INFORMATION, AVAILABILITY, AND CONTENT

Riverside makes reasonable efforts to ensure that the information published on the Site is accurate, complete, and up to date. However:

  • The availability, characteristics, and final quality of the services are the sole responsibility of the provider.
  • Photos, descriptions, and content may be referential.
  • Riverside does not guarantee the absolute accuracy of the information provided by third-party suppliers.

6. PRICES, PAYMENTS, AND BILLING

6.1. Prices

Prices displayed on the Site are shown in the indicated currency (COP or USD) and include taxes or fees when expressly stated.

6.2. Payments

The user may make payments using the electronic methods enabled on the Site. By making a payment:

  • The user authorizes Riverside or its contracted payment processors to process the charge.
  • Partial (deposit) or full payment may be required, depending on the provider.
  • All payments are subject to Colombian regulations regarding e-commerce, consumer protection, and payment reversal rights.

6.3. Billing

Invoices will be issued either by the service provider or by Riverside, as applicable, in compliance with current tax regulations.

7. RESERVATIONS, CANCELLATIONS, CHANGES, AND REFUNDS

7.1. Reservation confirmation

A reservation is considered confirmed once the user receives an email or confirmation voucher issued by Riverside.

7.2. Cancellation policies

Each provider establishes its own cancellation, refund, modification, and penalty policies. These policies:

  • Are visible before payment.
  • Must be accepted by the user prior to confirming the purchase.
  • Are binding for the user.

7.3. Changes requested by the user

Any date, service, or traveler modification is subject exclusively to the provider’s policies. Riverside will manage the request but does not guarantee acceptance of changes.

7.4. Refunds

When a refund applies:

  • It will be processed according to the provider’s policies.
  • Processing times may vary depending on the payment method.
  • Administrative fees or penalties will be deducted when indicated by the provider.

8. LIABILITY AND LIMITATION

8.1. Providers' responsibility

Each provider is directly responsible for:

  • service delivery,
  • safety,
  • quality standards,
  • compliance with its RNT registration,
  • and any event occurring during the contracted activity.


Riverside is not liable for negligence, delays, failure to deliver, damages, or losses caused by third-party providers.

8.2. Riverside’s responsibility

Riverside will be responsible only for:

  • errors attributable to Riverside in the reservation or payment process;
  • technical failures related to the Site;
  • information modified by Riverside without the provider’s authorization that affects the reservation.

8.3. Force majeure and unforeseeable circumstances

Riverside is not responsible for events beyond its control, including:

  • weather conditions,
  • natural disasters,
  • government decisions,
  • flight or transport cancellations,
  • third-party actions, protests, or emergencies,
  • pandemics or public-order restrictions.

9. USER OBLIGATIONS

The user agrees to:

  • Provide truthful, updated, and verifiable information.
  • Review the provider’s policies before booking.
  • Follow safety, coexistence, and environmental protection guidelines during their stay.
  • Use the Site lawfully, without infringing third-party rights or affecting its operation.

10. PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION

Riverside complies with Law 1581 of 2012 and other applicable data-protection regulations.

Riverside will process personal data solely for:

  • reservation and payment management,
  • sending confirmations,
  • legal compliance,
  • service-related communications.

11. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All Site content (texts, images, logos, designs, software, videos) is owned by Riverside or used under corresponding licenses.

Reproduction, distribution, or exploitation without prior written authorization is prohibited.

12. COOKIES AND NAVIGATION TECHNOLOGIES

The Site uses cookies to:

  • enhance user experience,
  • analyze traffic,
  • personalize content.


Cookie use is based on the user’s informed consent. Cookies may be disabled through the browser.

13. SUSTAINABILITY AND ENVIRONMENTAL RESPONSIBILITY

Riverside promotes responsible, regenerative tourism that respects local communities. The user agrees to:

  • respect ecosystems, fauna, and flora,
  • minimize waste,
  • follow recommendations provided by hosts and local guides.

Riverside will respond within the timeframes established by law.

In the event of disputes, these will be governed by the laws of the Republic of Colombia and resolved before competent Colombian courts, unless otherwise agreed by the parties.

15. INDEMNITY

The user agrees to hold Riverside, its employees, and partners harmless from any claim arising from:

  • misuse of the Site,
  • breach of these T&C,
  • harm caused to third parties by the user,
  • violation of local regulations during the experience or stay.

16. TERM AND VALIDITY

These Terms and Conditions apply from their publication and remain in force until modified by Riverside.
