Why?

1. Social Impact

We want to have the first Innovation Hub of the Southwest of Antioquia. Since we started developing businesses in Jericó, we identified that is not that entrepreneurs of the region didn’t have great ideas, they just do not have access to the same opportunities. This is why we have impacted 5 local entrepreneurs with simple actions like mentorships, crowdfundings, advertising and  networking. We believe that this is the way to make the local entrepreneurs be empowered and create new local job positions. Understanting that it is creating community how we grow sustainably, we want to create an entrepreneur school in our future premises to aid local dreamers. 

2. Environmental Impact

The construction, self-sufficient power and food production are aim to regenerate the soil and environment where we are. The cabins and coworking spaces we are going to build, have a direct impact in the planet in a positive way and challenge brutal capitalist that think it is impossible to create environmental impact whilst making great profits. Everything is a balance.

2. Mental Health Impact

With good habits like eating balanced, practicing meditation and yoga, hosting community activities and being in such a nice natural spot we get to help people to improve their quality sleep, be more creative, productive and get rid of issues such as burn out, depression, anxiety and solitude.

2. How can you be part of it?

If you have heard the quote “Alone we get the things done faster but together we can get farer”, it is because we are one of us. A Digital Nomad community that cares about each other is the difference and it is one of the lessons you learn once you get immerse in the Colombian communities.

With the power of our willing and reckonising Rivierside is such a paradise, we can get lots of our friends we find in our path to find out. Specially if they are looking for possibilities to create impact, have a little piece of Colombia, invest or find a permanent residency in our Country, this could be a perfect match for them.

2. Where do we want to get with all of this?

We know the market and world is big and many of you have mentioned that your dream is not to have a house, but to have many. We want to achieve the first step that is raising enough to build the dream paradise that guarantees a place for all of us. At the same time, doing a successful campaign between all of us, give us the chance to dream of having many other locations not only in Colombia, but in places that we are happy to visit again. 

A big part of the visitors that love Riverside mention that would love to have something like this in their Countries, or even in destinations such us Perú, México, Morocco, Spain, Bulgaria, Indonesia, Vietnam and New Zealand.

If something is characteristic of the founder of Riverside, is that is a big dreamer and the same characteristic was used to get to the point we are now. So why no dreaming together and contributing to create spaces with an impact with the help of a community?
