Tackling the Travails of Travel
A remote co-working, eco-living space that offers a harmonious blend of work, community, and nature, Riverside was started by travellers for travellers. Providing a calm and inspiring environment, the space is the ideal destination for digital nomads and remote workers seeking a seamless work-life balance. We ensure that our guests can fully immerse themselves in their work while enjoying the beauty of the surroundings and our guided nature tours.
We understood the travails of travel and wanted to help eliminate them as best as we could. Looking for a smooth experience, making our own app to help the Riverside community seemed like the next best step.
And that’s exactly what we did. When one of our guests suggested we should have an in-house app that lets people keep track of their expenses at the property – we took that recommendation very seriously. And we got to work developing an app for a seamless and transparent integrated experience.
We found a web-designer right here in our community who was staying as a guest. Being a firm believer in what we’re creating he wanted to help us grow the community and help as best as he could. We shifted a volunteer model with him and he got to making the app in collaboration with our founder. Many trials, errors, discussions and versions after the app was finally ready to be used.
From the moment our guests arrive, the app becomes a personal Riverside helper at your fingertips, offering a range of meals, food and drink services. You can easily make your order from the order list and all of course from the comfort of your desk, the hammock, by the river or wherever you might want to be at that moment. With the app we have been able to further develop our vision of a well-rounded experience in nature, high speed technology, and modern solutions.
What exactly do you get on this app? Pretty much everything from KitKat to Doritos to a menu that boasts of the local food culture in the region of Antioquia. We also provide a range of premium products like coffee, chocolates, and more that are produced by the locals keeping the highest standard of quality in mind. So whether you feel like having a cheat day or are looking for a fresh meal – you’ll get all the options you need on the Riverside app.
Riverside is more than just a place where you come to live, it’s a community you become a part of. We believe in the saying ‘it takes a village to raise a child’ and Riverside is nothing short of our brain-child that we have nurtured with passion and hard-work over the years to make it what it is today. Our goal is interconnectedness with authenticity. We believe in moving forward and taking those in our community forward with us.
And we believe in finding the perfect balance between nature and technology to make sure life is comfortable and inspired.
