Our Impact in Colombia: How Riverside connects people, purpose, and planet
Our Model
When Technology Serves Regeneration
With fiber-optic internet and Starlink, remote professionals can live and work in places usually off the map, without losing connection to the world. But the real connection happens locally.
Each Riverside destination is co-created with small entrepreneurs (farmers, artisans, hosts) who bring regenerative practices to life: composting, water care, biodiversity protection. Together, we restore ecosystems and strengthen rural economies.
Our Story
From a Rural Coworking Space to a Regenerative Network
It all started in 2017, in the Andes of Colombia, in the small town of Jericó, home to one of Latin America’s first rural coworking spaces in nature.
Since then, Riverside has evolved into a living ecosystem of regenerative stays and community-led projects.
Every booking directly supports local entrepreneurs and farmers who care for the land.
We also collaborate with the Both of Us program to create partnerships around sustainability, wellness, and impact tourism.
Our Footprint
Real Impact, Real People
Impact for us means growth that benefits both people and planet.
Our work is rooted in measurable results and human stories:
Rural entrepreneurs supported
Indigenous families engaged
Farms integrated into our food systems
Riverside is more than a place to stay.
It’s a community proving that travel can be regenerative, purposeful, and full of life.
Sustainable travel that gives back
We believe in a future where travel restores ecosystems, supports rural communities, and strengthens mental well-being.
A world where remote work in nature becomes a sustainable way of life, not a privilege.
